WHERE MIGRATION ENDS- FROM ROMAN PANNONIA TO VOJVODINA OF TODAY
European Capital of Culture 2022
With the exhibition "Where migration ends - from Roman Pannonia to today's Vojvodina",
the Museum of Vojvodina presents its most valuable exhibits - three gilded Roman helmets from the 4th century. Within the European Capital of Culture (ECC) program, this project belongs to the Migration sub-unit as a regional challenge. Making an interdisciplinary breakthrough in the interpretation and presentation of cultural heritage, based on a professional-scientific basis (museology, archeology, pedagogy, conservation, linguistics, ICT), the exhibition also uses other forms of art and includes the film essay Traces of Migration, the monodrama Blood and Mud, an application eExhibition and music, specially composed for the needs of the exhibition.
The monodrama "Blood and Mud", the directorial adaptation of the story "Dizon's Path" by Zoran Subotic, directed by Radoslav Milenkovic, as well as the film essay "Traces of Migration", and the original music composed by the harpist Sofija Sibinovic - Harp Lady, are a vital part of the exhibition.
Furthermore, the exhibition includes the eExhibition application, which allows visitors to "visit" the exhibition from any location, and an interactive digital comic was created through which young people can learn about the story of the famous and priceless helmets from the Roman era.
